and now Apple can buy sapphire from companies with much lower costs from buying used furnaces...

It is a HUGE reason I gave for avoiding GTAT too... too much dependence on a single customer is far too much risk. You can see what happened to CACS in my summary when T bought Cingular and put the screws to suppliers of telecom equipment that was doing well supplying the iPhone/Cingular network.... T had AWFUL networks too... Apple was a joke with how their phones lost calls and much of it was due to the merger where I lost a ton of paper profits... Don't trust these people (at any of these big companies) further than your urine stream...
