I heard Boon Pickens talk about it some.

All are solidly in the red. vs the purchase price.
But there is a way out of this.
The quarterly dividends are the first part.

I believe he warned some may cut the dividend to preserve cash. Perhaps they'll use the cash to buy others who go under with too much leverage. I may look for some bargains but I'd like to see some consolidation first to indicate value.
