Hi there Kirk, As a rule I mostly ignore Barrons. The one exception being the annual year end round table where select investment managers state their stock picks for the next year.

Barrons like Fortune, Money Magazine and Business week are often more interested in a headline story that will help sales of their tabloid product.

Talking about bubbles consider this. Following are some companies within the bubble and some riding on burst bubbles.

Facebook....F/PE...40.06...P/B...9.3....P/S...19.01

Twitter F/PE.. 106.....P/B...6.83....P/S...30.63

Transocean (RIG) F/PE..6.76..P/B.43..P/S...00.72

Ensco (ESV) F/PE..5.54.......P/B.62 P/S....1.41

A few years down the road Twitter and Facebook may disappear from the investment scene as folks find more interesting ways to waste their time. But Transocean and Ensco will still be pumping millions of gallons of oil per day for a carbon thirsty planet.

Because the internet provides so many great free investment websites I wonder how long the print magazines can hold on.Often the data in print is out of date by the time it hits the sales rack.

I think that it was RTS that recommended Guru Focus as a worthwhile web site and other posters have suggested other sites that are worth a look. I think the pulp format is living on fumes of past glories.
