Wow, 96 yrs old and toasty inside in -7F! Burrrr.... 57F outside here with a blanket of fog keeping us warmer at nights. Crazy jet stream that is giving one side frigid temps has those of us on the other side getting warm air from the Pineapple Express so we could see 70s in spots here today but probably mid 60s for me. Unreal how diverse! I've been out is shorts many times just so I can say I did it in Jan and Feb but it is comfortable until the sun gets below the trees after 4ish... At least I feel I get something for the outrageous price to live here...great weather! Our big fear now is we get another freeze and it kills the blossoms on our fruit trees and destroys the crop! All my best to your mother. You're lucky to have her! BTW, if you can figure out why AMAT is on fire lately, let me know! We sure look smart loading up in the low teens not long ago....
