WEATHER CHECK IN: 55F in my yard in Los Altos, CA just before the sun comes up with predictions of 60s for today... A blanket of fog is keeping our temps close to the ocean temps which I read were a very warm 61 in Monterey where it is usually 51F in the summer when the winds cause upwelling. I guess the Pineapple Express is bringing warm water from Hawaii to Monterey.... Q1: What is the weather by you? Also what is your location? It is very weird how warm it is for one half of the country and so cold on the other. Q2: When they average these two extremes, will they say it was a warmer or colder winter for GW calculations?
