I too love almonds. I watch my salt intake and monitor BP so I can have the Blue Diamond almonds from Costco as my salted treat. I also get their pistachios so I can have those as more rare treats. I rotate with peanuts most often then almonds then pistachios.... I have walnuts for the banana/oats bars I make for breakfast.

I'm glad were getting better food studies. They all seem to point to what seems logical, avoid processed food as much as you can (hell, we all love cake, ice cream, etc. on occasion) and get the vast majority of calories from natural foods. If you can go organic to avoid pesticides, etc.... even better but it can get expensive for most.
