You would think that "seasonal adjustments" would capture this annual winter slowdown, but I read somewhere they were screwed up.
I think growth is baked into the cake - a catch up from the slow q1.


It is probably the same dorks that calculate CPI-U inflation.

To me, it is quite clear there are MANY different measures of inflation and economic health and trying to lump them into single categories is adding to the mess... sort of how POTUS can brag about low unemployment while a third of some ethnic groups below the age of 25 can't find a job.
