I think you are right about the government wanting to tax people more and more.

Mtax valuation on my house has just arrived in the mail up 40,000 after a bigger bump last year.

Real estate is solid in TX ,but this is getting carried away.

I have one more year and due to age my real estate taxes get frozen - the last 3 year they've bumped the value 100,000 - There is a computer program aiming at me in the county appraisal district get em before they get frozen!

The outsourcing was an attempt (which primarily worked) to bust the unions.

The unions had wage pressure working up their pay scale COLA - you name it.

That did knock down the inflationary spiral.

All in all a guy has to watch out for many people trying to get into your pocket - that part of America is alive and well.
