Road rage against a self driving car is Darwinism at its best as they have many, many cameras operating in real time....

I'm not sure why they limit the speed to 25 MPH. If I had time, I'd complain and get them restricted from commute routes with higher speed limits that are already choke points.

They don't look safe to me sharing a road with my windsurfing van and certainly not the double load dirt haulers that clogs San Antonio road to dig out basements from home remodels and all the new commercial construction. With land for a home now about $2.5M for 1/4 acre... people are doubling up what they are allowed to have above ground by digging.

My guess your mother still drives. You might have more appreciation for how valuable these cars will be for families that have to tell someone they are too old / unsafe to others to drive. I remember it was a very trying experience for both my grandmothers who lived into their early 90s.

I too enjoy driving and having nice cars but I can sure see the benefit of having a self driving car for the very long daily commute many have.... You could easily turn those hours spent concentrating on driving watching a movie to relax, doing your work email or even having telecommute conferences with others you work with.

Can you imagine the value to an advertiser to know you are on your way to Safeway in a car and they can send you coupons to try a different store?

The cars look like little 2 person pods on wheels

Open the pod door Hal

Not until you look at this special offer from Walmart Dave
