On the bullish side of things I like that over the last week semiconductor related companies have been doing better than the overall market.

But we are not out of the woods yet.

Lets go back to looking at the VIX and how it behaved in 2011. It's initial spike was all the way up to a close at 48 back then as opposed to 40.78 last week. It stayed relatively high back then until the Fed rolled out QE-3. The world economy was actually stronger then than it is now. Is the Fed ready to roll out QE-4?

I don't think so. Anyway, I would not rule out a bear market. It will happen eventually:
