I it as silly as saying nobody would ever ride a horse again 100 years ago. Maybe hyperbola to get in the news, get quoted and thus make more $. Sort of the Ann Coulter of the Green Movement.

There seems to be two sides to this.
  1. My side that kicks and screams about excessive population growth and how it destroys nice places to live while sucking up global resources.
  2. His side that sees there is a ton of money to be made from destroying the planet with excessive growth so they can pretend to be "green" and advocate ways to mitigate the damage such as driving less, cramming into tighter spaces where everyone rides a bike or takes a bus, etc. THey make a bundle with aps to share the few cars that a few can afford if they let someone else sneeze and get their germs all over their steering wheels, etc...
