They may need the wall to keep FORMER UAW workers out...

Actually, what pisses me off about Mexico is their citizens can come here and get driver's licenses and help working for low wages or even stand on the street looking for work, but when I went to Baja to windsurf... I was told that the owners of the resorts can be US but they are not allowed to hire US Citizens as summer workers... they have to hire Mexican workers. Just imagine how different things would be here in the US if we had reciprocity of these rules.
To be able to sell vehicles into the Mexican market a high content of the vehicle must be made in Mexico (it used to be 80 %) not sure about now.
I'd love to have something like that here but I believe NAFTA eliminated those types of rules or they are considered illegal. Yet I believe China and India require it for many things....

I can see why Trump has appeal.

Also, $30/hr is probably negative growth for UAW workers since Bill Clinton's days as POTUS... so you can also see why The Bern has such appeal as the CEO of Ford and GM are doing better than the workers.
