If MSFT closed on the bid, stochastics would be lower than if it closed on the ask. If MSFT closed on the bid, RSI would be lower than if it closed on the ask. If MSFT had a pattern set up over a several week period in either of these indicators and closing on the bid prevented a breakout of the pattern in the technicals, MSFT would move in an entirely different direction and/or magnitude the next trading day as a result of 83 shares. You are too focussed on one trade. I have already told you that I work in a time frame that makes single trades AND market making activity a moot point.

From your logic, TA would also be useless in currency trading which has no volume to work with. You are NOT employed by a firm that makes markets in stocks. You would know more than you do or would have been canned. Now, don't I hear your mother calling?
