I look at health care somewhat like police and fire.

Just as I hope the fire department puts out a fire in their house before it jumps to mine.....

If my neighbors get Ebola or the plague and are dead broke with no job to pay for health insurance, I sure hope they can go to the hospital and get treatment before they spread it to me.

Now if I broke my leg or arm windsurfing every year, they might want to have a charge for the sport to cover the excess risk before I get it fixed for free.....

And if you and others want to drink alcohol, I'd sure like to see everyone charged the estimated $2 per drink it costs society.

Then you add in all the variables like how I push myself to get on the elliptical or take a yoga class 9 out of 10 days a week unless I do a hike, windsurf or bike ride.... to have better health while others sit on the couch and eat chips and swill beer....

How do we do all this seems very difficult now and I sure don't have a good idea as charging a sugar or booze or saturated fat tax on what we consume doesn't really work as politicians now use the money from the gas tax to increase pensions and pay other promises.
