Apparently some VIX based measures are urging caution right in here though. VVIX:VIX ratio has been above 7 only a handful of times in history and usually results in 1-2 months of weakness if not a medium term trend change. Unclear to me though what it means as ratio had never been above say 5-6 before the past few years. Things do change.
