Hi Kirk,

When Cypress semi bought out Spansion (March of 2015) - they discovered a much larger inventory of memory than they expected.

It has taken till this quarter for them to slow their own production in an effort to burn through the inventory).

TJ said this current quarter would hopefully end the slow consumption of excess inventory.

If so they can once again resume a higher level of fab utilization.

There seems to be a clear trend of memory makers having slow inventory turns and freezing their working capital.

My suspicion is Micron has encountered a similar condition.

Why pay for excess inventory and have it impact your business when delaying the acquisition comes out of the hide of the BK company.

Bob
