There are an awful lot of stocks that are high.

I've been selling puts on stocks that are bottoming (at least the Macd has been hitting the bottom line).

If I get put the stock the net price I buy it at yields 6.0 % or better.

It is hard to find those now days and if you do - there's always a bad story out there.

Use to do Csco and Intc they are in the the 30's.

Then a lot of T in the 33-34 range - its up to 43.

Lately I had a lot of HCP and they are now talking a spinco and it popped up to where I had a nice profit and I got cold feet when I read the CEO got the boot.

TOO much drama for me - lots of talk about cutting the dividend.

So I'm sitting with 80 % cash and now playing Cohu @ 2.6% Brks at 4.4 % and CY at 6.0 + %..

Since I sold those I can't touch brks or CY.

I'm just hoping they miss of guide weak and they have a reversal.

Cohu has been the only thing I've sold puts on this month.

I did buy some Armanino Foods of Distinction AMNF @ $3.17 as it pays (8 cents annually) a 3.69% dividend and it is a cool little company that makes great Italian food (pesto sauces and tortellinis in the west coast.

Can;t find the food here in the midwest. sigh

On a bad day it goes down 2 cents LOL
