It makes sense that autos would be a good cycle to play given they are usually the second largest investment anyone makes (your home being the largest.)

A quote of sorts occurred to me a few days ago....

"My grandfather was born when gasoline autos replaced horses defecating outside his window in San Francisco. Grand kids of my generation are being born when electric autos are replacing cars that defecate into the very air we breath."

I will have to clean it up some, but it is astounding how far we've come in 103 years.

Today, the only technology on a horse is probably the watch and smart phone worn by the rider while gas and electric autos probably now have semiconductors as 10 to 30% of their content.
