Hi Linda, Distributions are handled without use of the TRADE window. Instead, bring up the fund in question, click on the Maintenance window and enter the new total number of shares in the appropriate box. Newport will understand that this is a distribution (the same goes with stock splits) and will make all the necessary changes. You will have to make sure the price for the shares is proper as well, otherwise you'll get a false Buy signal, most likely. The ADD and REDUCE feature in the TRADE window is used only for when you are doing something outside the realm of AIM, stock splits or distributions. Hope this helps, Tom
