Conflicts with multiple realtime antivirus programs and security suites) ...

<< Bitdefender also conflicts with Norton >>

The various realtime antivirus/antimalware clients (including Windows Defender) and Internet security suites from the major security vendors all potentially interfere with each other if running concurrently. It is generally not wise to run more than one in realtime (and this also applies to firewalls if included in a security suite) rather than on demand mode or in some cases even having more than one installed.

One possible and supposed exception is Malwarebytes Premium 3.x (which now bills itself as a 'next generation antivirus replacement' and claims to render 'antivirus' obsolete which it most certainly doesn't). See here: Message 30950367

I an currently running Norton Security Deluxe and Malwarebytes Premium concurrently in realtime on a Win10 system with no apparent conflicts but I have Malwarebytes Premium (for which I have a lifetime license) on a short leash. I consider the free version to be a useful tool as a secondary line of defense that can potentially remove malware that might slip by a primary defense but I would not recommend the Premium realtime version. In my opininion a users dollars are better spent on a a security suite from Bitdefender, Kapersky, or Norton (or one of several well rated and more cost effective other suites).
