TO ALL: Torben and Starowl have it right. No doubt about it, this is a bummer, especially coming so "late in the day" just before earnings are to be released. That is my real complaint....the powers that be didn't just wake up this morning and figure out that they weren't going to make their number. I suppose that the downturn would have occurred no matter when the announcement hit....but at least those who bought recently on the strength of no announcement having been given would not have been burned.

I have a huge position in this stock, and was buying more on weakness the other day at 36 7/8. On paper, I have lost big time.

Now, with all that said, am I going to sell out at a much less profit or even a loss? No. I'm going to think like a long term investor. And if this company has solid products, and are as dominant in their market as they seem to be, then they (and all of us) should recover from this episode. We should approach this from the standpoint of whether (and when) we should add to our respective positions.

Admittedly, our mettle as investors is being tested. But remember: The stongest steel is forged in the hottest fires.
