Thanks. I too am overweight international but that is mostly due to performance and not nearly as over weight as you are!

I've owned VWIGX (up 34% YTD!!!) for ages (1980s or early 1990s) as well as a version for my Vanguard annuity bought back in the days before I had a large home mortgage deduction and was looking to defer taxes. I took some profits last week.

BTW, you could make a great argument that we should be have as much in international as there is market cap so that is probably closer to your allocation than mine in the mid 20s.

I also own index funds for specific geographic regions so I can take profits when one region is up vs others including the US.

I post this graph from Yardeni each month in my newsletter showing the PE ratios for the major world regions and the US is still way above the others and I think EM was still the cheapest so we may have more room to run.
