Agreed on all points. To live with in ones means put a very real value on an accumulated wealth. I was really glad to see your fav stock do so well today. Congrats on saving investing and staying persistent. It is a wealth defining lifestyle. I really do not see the allure of California - it has that lifestyle of dithering away one's life written all over it. That said, I've never lived there and you know more about it than I. One thing for sure - if you ever decide to change and need to have a place to travel out of ,to visit new potential places - you have a home/friend in Texas and Wisconsin by which you can travel and experience new sights.
