Interesting, thanks. It seems we are turning up again, perhaps loans to remodel homes that many of us won't sell because the tax hit would be HUGE and after paying the taxes, you can't really downsize without moving to a lower quality neighborhood.

Fires and Hurricane rebuilding might be in there too. Will people take their insurance money and get a new loan to upgrade their homes destroyed by hurricanes and fires? I would probably do that, but with cash in savings...
