Scotsman:

This is an oversimplification, but Korea is a unique situation.
Imagine for a moment that the ENTIRE U.S. economy was comprised
of Micron Technology & it's suppliers. (Ok, add @1% for the Kim Chee
industry). That gives you a rough idea of Korea.

If you can think of the bright side for a moment, there will likely
not be any additional Government spending on subsidizing the semi
industry. The Government is "tapped out."

I can remember during my high school years the "domino theory"
was considered to be a bunch of B.S. . Of course, that was in regards
to military actions. Perhaps the theory is going to make a comeback,
vis-a'-vis economies?

Regards,

Doug
