It was a couple of posts straight back from when you asked me for a name. If you can't remember, just click backwards through the conversation. Its a direct line 3 clicks from when you asked for a name, two clicks from when I posted - "Then why did a number of liberals vote against it?"

Its hard to have a conversation with someone when they can't remember anything and won't bother to look back a couple of posts.

That having been said - Fine I'll repeat them

For example Al Gore Sr. not only voted against it but joined in the fillibuster against it. But was he a conservative? He was a big supporter of the "Great Society" programs, spoke out against the Vietnam War, and generally pushed for more spending on domestic programs.

Another example - Senator Fulbright signed the Southern Manifesto (signed by only 2 Republicans but 99 Democrats), and voted against and filibustered the 64 bill but are you really going to call him a conservative?
