Hi Kirk, You must have a mean streak in you to bring up Al Gore. I thought that he as working on re-inventing the internet.

The only good thing about the polar ice melting, is that its going to wipe out a lot Republican Congressional Districts. All those Michigan snowbirds that rave about Florida.....I hope that they have high seawalls t o protect their condos.

I was looking at North Pole Farmland.....I could grow some Iceberg Lettuce, Snow Peas, and winter squash.

One thing that will happen with the ice cap melting, is that the Northwest Passage through Hudson Bay will create a shortcut to Japan and the far east.It was open last summer for a short time, but its not safe for big ships because ice shifts and could trap a ship for some time.

Its been a cold spring, just this past Monday we got 10 inches of snow. Wisconsin and the western UP got much more.

This country has got of goof balls, and wing nuts ( far right and far left) that migrate westward to the promised land of California, Arizona Colorado and Texas. They never stop in the UP to see what privacy looks like. This is the only part of the country where migrants were not disappointed, because it looked just like the old country they left behind. Finnlanders , Swedes, and Norwegians,

I know that you are not interested in trading your sail board for a snowblower, or your sailboat for an ice boat.
But it is fun. unless you hit patch of thin ice.
