Wish I could run long distance (for my heart strength) but an old knee surgery just prevents it.


You don't need to run for heart health. Brisk walking for 30 minutes daily will do it. I also had knee pain from a dirt bike injury but taking 2000 mg glucosamine sulfate daily fixed that. However, I gave up running 25 years ago (in favor of walking) because my dad had knee pain from playing too much basketball and I decided I'd not risk the same. Simply walking will do wonders for your BMI, BP, glucose, heart rate, lipo profile numbers, stress and mental health.

P.S. Get a Treeing Walker Coonhound. Mine DEMANDS lots of exercise and drives me nuts until I take her out.
