What lies? and if you haven't noticed the US economy is doing very well?

I think his policies have brought us low unemployment,excellent Capex expansion and confidence to most people. Not to mention a 21% increase on corporate earnings.

As for tariffs, Trump wants no tariffs and if their must be tariffs (which if they are unfair to the US - then we reciprocate).

Pretty up straight to me.

I have wondered why current Republicans don't call out Trump for his frequent lies, or for his economic policies

It is because Trump's popularity is growing as his successes are achieved.

We're on differing sides with regards to Trump.
