Free Trade & Trump yadda, yadda banter

There has never been free trade since 1776 in this country or anywhere else. Tariffs and Taxes are a fact of economic life. Get used to it.

Congress (through legislation) determines economic policy.The President either approves or disapproves.
Time to drag out that civics book you seem to have lost. The President may have a wish list for economic policy but that is as far as it goes. Congress controls the purse strings.

Toleration of varied viewpoints is a healthy sign in a democracy.
