Our "allies" are spoiled kids living in the garage who've been told by "The Donald" to move out and get a job. We've carried them since the end of WW2 to prevent what happened to Germany after WW1 but that aid has gone long enough so out of the garage. If you expect them to not complain about having to pay their own way, then you are probably on the government gravy train in the US and vote to keep it that way.
If you don’t understand what the reaction to the recent summits by our allies was to The Donald you are totally in the dark.
Our US arms dealers are probably the biggest complainers as they don't want competition. That is it is insane to think Germany, Italy and France will buy all these new arms from the US rather than develop their own industries.... again, another reason the US paid up until now.

Learn to follow the money.
If you don’t understand what the reaction to the recent summits by our allies was to The Donald you are totally in the dark. Recent polls tell the story, the worst president of all time.
Polls, schmolls. They said Hillary would win. 'nuf said.
Now threats that if he is impeached the stock market will drop drastically.
He's a narcissist that believes the great gains are due to his tax and regulation cuts. He's probably half right on both counts, but over states it just like his fugly hair.
He is worse than Nixon ever was.
Nixon was a drunk. Trump doesn't drink. If Trump was for protecting abortion and keeping most decent environmental regulations, he could have run as a democrat and you'd probably be defending him over Mike Pence. Most of his tariffs and protectionist acts are more of what you'd expect of a union backed democrat POTUS.
Time will flesh out the details of how this ends, and it will end badly.
We usually muddle through just fine.
