That's closer to the truth than you may think. I remember a case of a bond trader who was eating his pizza at his desk while his butt pressed against the sell button. This caused a relatively small amount of bond sales at the market price, but brought about an avalanche of other sellers who just piled on and sold first, and asked questions later.
