Gordon, because of the attachment small investors have for the stock, it has become A HEAVEN, A GOLD MINE FOR DAYTRADERS AND NASDAQ DEAL MAKERS, thats whats wrong with it. The small investors run up the stock, and the deal makers make the profits. They know you will always be there hoping to recoup. As for Daytraders, they jump in and out, but somebody with a fulltime job or a long term investor don,t have the time. SOOOOO NASDAQ gets rich on you. To see what I mean, line up ten nasdaq and ten nyse stocks and watch them for a week. You will be amazed at the volatility and spread of nasdaq stocks.
As for why they trade on Nasdaq, the answer is very simple, IOMG is NOT YET THE INDUSTRY LEADER. When they become the leader, they will be able to wield that at Nasdaq. Notice that INTC AND MSFT are as stable as comparable companies on NYSE. The big question is, WHY DO WE HAVE SUCH A SYSTEM AS NASDAQ where million dollar deals are made in back rooms by one guy in front of pc screen? Go figure
Cheers
