Hi Dos,

Hapy New year to you and wife!!

I agree, but must admit being conservative from very conservative parents.

My savings have always been in stocks and over the years I've learned they come and go. (I think that is an understatement).

I do have a fear of running out of money - as I'm now old enough to not do many things I was much more capable of doing when younger (like work 14 hour days). sigh

So it dealing with the adjustment that is always the challenge of life.

I'm still very bent on increasing my assets - with the up and down ebbs of course.

That being said I've been blessed.

I always wanted to buy my parents real estate and just completed that this year.

Everything paid for and we live modestly in wonderful homes - but they have expenses and we are trying to get ahead on that.

New roof next summer and I'll have it under control.

Then it will be voluntary items - much more fun than maintenance chores.

Good to hear from you!

Bob
