The big offsets on 10 day clix wear out after tomorrow.

If one looks back at the C wave of february 2016 - there was a retest of the lows.

Price actually dipped intraweek below the 200 week moving average (by 5 points) - that caused some selling I bet.

Macd was several points below the low of the previous A wave in late 2015.

So these type of corrective ABC's can have a final retest. A retest that will put doubt into the bulls and get the bears mouthy.

What appears to be most solid that we've gone through the worst is the 30day clx has been lass then the 30 dat clxpp twice. Once in 10/29 thru 11/06 and then most recently 12/24 thru 12/27.

Santa coughed up a fur ball this Christmas - some people just treat nothing as sacred, <smile>
Tomorrow is WWW and it certainly has been up into WWW.

Now for how we get treated into expiration.

The 30 day clx drops off some big positives starting friday and all of next week 10 day clx offsets don't do much - so it could run.

I'm hoping down into expiration and a good february.

Earnings after expiration and into february for calendar year corporations.

I've been expecting good earnings all this year and they have been , but there's been a lot of woodshed walking regarding guidance for many.

Maybe after everyone is beared up - they'll surprise and get a gear into february.

I picked up some XOM last december - can't believe I was able to get it below 70.00. Took every bit of loss harvesting to raise cash and get as much as I could - without touching reserve cash. I did sell some 70 puts on exxon out into January 2020. If those come into my nets - I'll use my reserve cash for them (5% plus on XOM - I have a spot for them in my "Throw them in a drawer and fuggetaboutem" drawer.

One never knows - I still wish I had AMAT, KLAC and some LRCX for great growth blue chips with nice dividends.

The price swings so much on Lrcx, but I got really lucky clipping some big premiums and no assignment just before the big swoon down from 170. YIKES !!

I'm hoping to pick up some KMI and T next week on friday.

Seldom do I hope a stock doesn't go up. LOL

We drove from Wisconsin to Houston and am enjoying the warm mid 70's.

Still suffering from a long 2 day drive. I had two black cats in my regular cab truck and Jan had three cats in her Yukon.

We take a break to Jamaica this month and then I'm up replacing the wooden soffet and facia with hardy board. I have done all but the hgh up second floor stuff and have brought down some scaffolding I used on my school .

It turned out to be a good Christmas as I have two realtors wanting to lease my school house for commercial office space. I hope it comes together - I like to have help with the taxes and utilities - I've been paying them for 12 years now. The place looks great - it took me 8 years to complete it.

Three rooms and 2500 square feet - I gutted it and completely rewired all of the electrical and water plumbing with new boilers, duct work ,flooring, insulation, drywall and all LED lighting.

The two realtors asked for utility estimates, I showed them actual recaps (which I do every year). All of the solar windows and new boilers with LED lights with the minimal costs really saved on monthly expenses. They were blown away.

I sure learned a lot as I was able to take care of Mom for over 10 of those 12 years.

In all, a great lesson in life.

Let's get this market going parabolic - so high we'd never even consider buying more shares - just sell them off and turn them into cash - right about when the 30 year pays 7%.

Hey a guy has to dream !
