Hi RFH, The way I ate my way through the holidays I'm developing a triple bottom as well!!! I'm not sure if my triple bottom has any spring left in it!

The two closed end funds that I know of are Japan Fund and Japan OTC fund. The former is a larger cap. fund I believe. Both are listed in Value Line. There are a pile of Open End funds that follow the Japanese market. I'll let Jim Battaglia sort those out for you. The only attractive part of the closed end funds is that they will swing about the NAV from discount to premium with market psychology, giving them a bit more volatility than the open funds.

I know this isn't very specific, but hope it helps a bit. I'll look up some more on the funds next time at the library.

Best regards, Tom
