The one thing I've learned, if you are in Canada, and it's winter, and you look out the window and see an absolutely beautiful day, then stay the hell inside because it means it's too cold outside.


I heard that in Canada,

if you look out the window

and see the men wearing shorts and T shirts,

and the women jaunting around in mini-skirts,

and you are from the other parts of the American continents,

bundle up baby, it's still way cold out!

What - they have like one day of summer there at 50F if they're "lucky"? :-)

You know it's summer because you car is hitting all the potholes that on all other days are filled with ice?

My Canadian co-workers in NYC were always easy to recognize outside in the winter (see above).

I can see shorts, but flip flops in the snow?
