Actually, I prefer people trying to get me to like what they like rather than be sycophant butt kissers who fawn over the board moderator so they don't get kicked off. If someone can't handle a bit of disagreement or others pointing out they are wrong, my internal "FRAUD ALERT" lights up.

Feel free to keep trying to convince me and I'll continue to disagree if I have any strong feelings. ;)

I have other friends who like T and VZ for the dividends that tried to get me to buy last year. They also bought my newsletter and a few of the stocks I prefer but we still have good "discussions" now and then, but with T doing so poorly... few seem to talk about either now with me. Perhaps they are happy with their gains in all the stocks we bought last year at huge discounts and have already started taking some profits.

If I had to pick two stocks to buy or add to my portfolio that I don't own now... I'd consider Amazon or FB after a good crushing. During the just completed bear market (I believe it ended on Dec 26th..) I added to my Giggle shares rather than either of those two, but it might be more about not wanting to track another stock than thinking any of them were better than the others.
