Oh yeah, By staying officially long but trading around core positions, I've maintained a huge lead over the S&P 500 with much less risk. Also, I'm back in a tie for 4th for "Long term" timers in Timer Digest's latest issue (yesterday). It shows how nearly impossible it is to beat buy and hold the index! When you start adding the cost of taxes on performance to jump in and out short term, it is obvious why no credible mutual funds, even with Watson looking at the data to make buy and sell decision, are offered.... K
