All charges were dropped!

Smollett reached a deferred prosecution deal and the judge sealed his case!

Even worse, Jussie Smollett and his lawyer are sticking to the BIG LIE that Smollett was attacked by racist white Trump supporters.

The Chicago Police Union want a federal investigation into Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s handling of Smollett’s case after text messages revealed she was communicating with Jussie Smollett’s relatives and supporters about their concerns over his case.

Tina Tchen a former aide to Barack and Michelle Obama, sent Kim Foxx an email saying, “Hi Kim – I sent an email to your work address I think as well. I wanted to give you a call on behalf of Jussie Smollett and family who I know. They have concerns about the investigation. I am on an 8 am flight to nyc but please call me before then. I land about 1015 Chicago time. My cell is [redacted]. Many thanks!”

In one text exchange with a Smollett relative, Kim Foxx is reassuring them she spoke to the superintendent and asked for a favor. “I’ll keep you posted, “Foxx said in text. “Omg this would be a huge victory,” the Smollett relative said in response. “I make no guarantees, but I’m trying.” Foxx replied.

Kim Foxx later recused herself from the case.

The Police Union wants the feds to determine whether Kim Foxx broke the law.

Flashback: Media Jumps Gun, Blames Trump For ‘Hate Crime’ Without Evidence

Once again, our esteemed media establishment and leftist politicians have jumped the gun and blamed President Donald J. Trump, along with his supporters, for a hate crime.

“Chicago police say they’ve reviewed hundreds of hours of footage from downtown surveillance cameras but haven’t found footage yet of the alleged attack on ‘Empire’ actor Jussie Smollett,” according to an Associated Press report.

CBS reported Tuesday:

Police said the victim reported two people approached him and began shouting “racial and homophobic slurs” at him. The men allegedly struck the victim in the face, “poured an unknown chemical substance” on him, and wrapped a rope around his neck, according to a police statement.

In a follow-up interview with police, Smollett said his attackers yelled “MAGA country” during the assault, Chicago police confirmed to CBS News.

So far, Chicago police have no evidence that the attack even occurred, never mind that Trump supporters had anything to do with it. Still, noted race pimp Al Sharpton called on Trump to denounce the attack, and politicians have gone to bat for Smollett.

“There is no such thing as ‘racially charged.’ This attack was not ‘possibly’ homophobic. It was a racist and homophobic attack. If you don’t like what is happening to our country, then work to change it. It is no one’s job to water down or sugar-coat the rise of hate crimes,” said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez irresponsibly and despite the lack of evidence in a future deleted Tweet.

There is no such thing as “racially charged.”

This attack was not “possibly” homophobic. It was a racist and homophobic attack.

If you don’t like what is happening to our country, then work to change it. It is no one’s job to water down or sugar-coat the rise of hate crimes.

BREAKING: Jussie Smollett has been hospitalized in Chicago after a possible homophobic and racially charged attack.

The mainstream media and the political left have learned absolutely nothing from last week’s Covington Catholic High School meltdown, in which they wrongly smeared teenaged boys and accused them of non-existent racism, only to be proven wrong.

This tiresome routine appears to have no end in sight.
