Hi Kirk,

I'm not sure that this inversion carries the same weight as past inversions.

Past inversions happened as the Fed cranked up interest rates - in an effort to cool off an overheated economy.

They also moved rates up much faster and much higher.

This inversion has happened after just a few widely spaced 1/4 point increases in 2018, in a world where almost everyone else is in the world of negative rates.

Our unemployment is low and many have come out from the world of unemployed, but yet they were doing side jobs and avoiding taxes.

That no doubt helps fill the Government's coffers.

Inflation is a no show.

Growth has been anemic at best.

Much of the economic high frequency statistics are very different from those of past inversions. ONLY TIME WILL TELL.

My day trading is an experiment in timing before the clx gets a tailwind - hoping to find another small trick to implement before clx reversals go from oversold to overbot.

I especially like it because it tracks SOX, a sector I've been in for decades.

Hope you have a Great 4th of July!

We're still bust getting our seedling transplanted - Jan's been doing that.

I've been cutting out boxelder trees, honeysuckle bushes, and buckthorn trees, all of which have now encroached on my raised bed garden boxes. I'm physically exhausted from declaring war on the hillside of my garden.

Going to enjoy brats and beer with friends tomorrow and chill out.

Bob
