Yup...I agree 100%..

The odds are companies will continue to raise dividends so you'll get more interest over time PLUS some capital appreciation. I don't think stocks have ever lost money or under performed bonds over any 20 year period. But if rates keep falling, strip zeros might do it for the 2000 to 2020 period which would make it a very bad time to invest in bonds!
