It is a matter of learning to cook them properly. Roasted figs taste like jam.

I quarter the sprouts, add a little olive oil and spices, in this picture garlic from Costco, then roast in a convection oven for 14 min at 400F the I add the individual leaves that fall off in prep mixed with the remaining seasoning and sprayed with a bit of olive oil spray (from Walmart online) and cook another 4 minutes. I like the leaves on the left the best.
