Have you ever had fresh spring peas?? I have had some that were also outstanding! I live near a vendor known as The Chefs Garden, aka Culinary Vegetable Institute and periodically have gone there for special meals. They supply some of the Best restaurants in the country and beyond. For a while they were bringing in some amazing chefs who would prepare special meals and as good as some of the meat courses they had often the vegetables they served were the "stars".
