Without causing an irrational verbal attacks upon myself, I just have one question: What happened to the concept of assuming one innocent until proven guilty when all the facts and truth are known for sure?!

That's a constitutional due process requirement, but it doesn't prevent a person of normal intellect from having an opinion about another person's deeds. I accept that the LA County DA couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that O.J. Simpson was guilty of murder, but that doesn't mean I think he's innocent. (Even several of the criminal trial jurors admitted that they thought he "probably" did it.)

I see your approach used over and over again in the media: "Hey, innocent until proven guilty, right? So don't go judging me!!" That's a not-so-clever way of mixing up public opinion with very strict legal requirements. I gather from talking to people and listening to the news that most people think Clinton did it. That's not the same as depriving him of due process.

Yes, part of Clinton's success is that he and Congress have achieved a comfortable deadlock in government, and this incident threatens that quiet peace. But I also think he's learned a lot about how D.C. works since his first term, and he would have been highly regarded in history for his ability to mediate within the government were it not for this stupid, stupid, stupid black mark.
