It is much clearer now than it was 22 years ago when I first started writing online about it before I had a newsletter portfolio (started at the request a financial guru with a national radio show but that didn't last long before I went off on my own.)

Back then, to make a point, I called the analysts "used paper (stock certificates) salesmen" and said why expect them to be any different than used car (sorry Bob) salesmen.
