The Bay Area's high housing costs have contributed to the current homeless crisis.

That old canard is such bullshit - like these folks go to work each day and return to their tents because they can't afford to rent.

They're mentally ill or drug addicts and need to be scooped up off the streets and offered the help they need until they're clean.
