You seem to have some knowledge in the market, but you are playing the game of "Monday Morning Quarterback". The SWAT team and all posters on this thread are bringing stocks to everyones attention. One must realize that stocks are bought and sold with one purpose in mind "I want to make money". People who buy stocks and marry them are long term investors, and do not need TA or FA. Take for instance just yesterday 2 stocks come to mind DIGL, and IOM. DIGL was an $11 stock on Thursday at the close. Earnings come out and wham the stock trades in the range of 3 3/4 - 4 15/16 a drop of over 6 pts or greater then 50%. What does CS First Boston do on Friday downgrades the stock from "Strong Buy to Hold". Another stock IOM on Thursday the stock is trading in the high 12's. Earning come out after the close and on Friday the stock trades in the range of 8 3/4 - 9 a drop of 25%. Guess what Needham downgrades the stock on Friday from Buy to Hold. I don't mean to point the finger at these two Market Makers I am trying to make a point, stocks go up and down and people make a conscience effort to do their best to relay information to their clients in order to make them money. The difference here is the SWAT team and other posters bring stocks to peoples attention reminding others to also do their own DD, and their stocks had a nice little bounce (not always but this week they did). When dealing with a brokerage house clients let the brokerage house do the DD for them, and rely upon their brokers recommendation to buy stocks. Boy how do you tell a client to sell a stock now when it plumments 50%. I have a broker friend who would have said if you liked a stock at 11 yesterday you should love to buy more today at 4. Oh well who knows, just wanted to shed some light and tell you to chill a bit. This thread is being used by all to voice an opinion its not about throwing stones on Friday 5 days after the play is done and results are in. Your critisims would have had more credence if you would have posted on Monday or Tuesday before any movement.
