Hi Kirk,

I share your opinion on S'bucks in general. However all things have their places sometimes. I finished up a project in Japan and decided to stay several extra days and explore Tokyo. I spent a few days wandering about and popping into little eat places and bars and ordering things I had little idea what. Mostly it was all good. But never anything remotely like home cookin...and most especially no coffee. One afternoon I was walking through a quiet residential area and totally by surprise came across a Starbucks. Man! Hung out there for about three hours. Slowly sipping one big taste of America after another...coffee! 20 years ago and I still enjoy remembering that!
