Jess, <<is he guilty of obstruction of justice? If not: this too shall pass.>> I don't think resignation hinges on proof of criminal charges. He has already been dealt a mortal wound politically. I personally feel the same as you vis a vis Roman orgies, but the majority of voters in this country won't countenance an affair between the president and a 21 year old intern, regardless of whether or not laws were broken. I think we'll see, in the coming days, the strongest pressure for him to resign coming from fellow Democrats. If he fights to stay in office and drags this on and on, the upcoming Fall elections are going to be a slaughter. All this IMO, of course.
